Cloud chaser

Ok so I know its cheating but I thought I'd write a poem instead this time ^_^

Sitting Alone and wondering why
The clouds can drift so idly by
They don't care at all, for whats down bellow
Instead they roll across the sky

Its times like this I try and find
A reason for my sitting time
The time I take out of my day
for thoughts to drift so far away

Just a Word
But asks so much
Just an answer
That means so much

Just a word
You hear too much
Too hard to answer
so you gave up

So here I am, you still feel near
I look to see your still not here
I turn instead towards the sky
to envy clouds drifting idly by

Your colors are awesome and your pencils great.
    Cheers to your skill.
Say hi to Luke, once you get through his little onion layers, he is a great guy and a worthy friend :)

  12. i like that your blog features your art. what i think would be really cool would be a storyboard kind of thing! a drawing each day (or every few), depicting scenes involving a character in some sort of ongoing story. maybe your blog readers can suggest what theyd like to see next and you get to choose from the suggestions what you want to illustrate!

    keep up the good work,

  13. IZA - Thanks! ^_^

Luke - Thanks, yeah it took me a couple of tries to get the concept right - like what colour the light would be etc.. glad you like it ^_^

Clayton - Hmm, storyboard may have to come later... when I feel a little more confident with my ability to tell stories in the one image - that vignette sort of feel, But your more than welcome to suggest ideas! Thanks for having a read so far ^_^

  15. Wait... so when did this happen in your childhood? I vaguely remember you telling me about that brief stint when you were like 10 or 11 and receiving flying lessons and hopes of becoming a full-time dreamer? ;)

Seriously though, really superb work on the illustration and the poem!!! And Lel, I'm really blown away by all the updates, but don't forget about your other blog - she told me she's a bit lonely.
